MEET MARK CALCOTT – Piano & Vocals | The Piano Man Behind Allentown

Country Boots & Bands Jackson, MI
Led by acclaimed pianist Mark Calcott, Allentown’s Billy Joel tribute is anchored by a true Piano Man whose command of Billy Joel’s repertoire elevates the entire band night after night, especially when he wears his Raybans.
Mark is a full-time professional musician whose performance credits include Carnegie Hall and Toronto’s Massey Hall, credentials that place him among the most respected pianists in the region. On stage, he seamlessly commands piano, Rhodes, and clavinet, capturing the sound, feel, and dynamics of Billy Joel’s catalog with accuracy, intensity, and unmistakable showmanship.
Now entering his fifth consecutive year as the Piano Man for Allentown, Mark’s musical partnership with the band has been forged through countless rehearsals and high-profile performances. That chemistry is evident on stage—his precision, energy, and musical leadership consistently inspire the rest of the ensemble to match his level.
Based in Windsor, Ontario, Mark is an active, full-time gigging musician. Outside of Allentown, he performs in high-end Dueling Piano shows, operates Empire Recording Studio, and regularly works with nationally touring acts when they pass through the Detroit market.
Mark Calcott doesn’t imitate Billy Joel — he understands him. His deep respect for the source material, combined with elite musicianship and professionalism, makes him the musical cornerstone of Allentown’s live experience.
MEET TODD STONEY – Drums | Founder & Musical Director – The Visionary Behind Allentown

Todd Stoney as Liberty DeVito
Todd Stoney didn’t just join a tribute band — he built one. As the founder and driving force behind Allentown, Todd has spent more than 15 years developing one of Michigan’s most respected and professionally run tribute productions.
A lifelong drummer, Todd began formal instruction at age nine and spent his formative years immersed in classic rock, progressive rock, and the great American songwriters of the radio era. Playing along to records by Bob Seger, Billy Joel, and countless Top 40 artists, he developed a musical foundation rooted in feel, time, and restraint — the hallmarks of great tribute performances.
Todd’s drumming style is shaped by an unusually broad range of influences, including Sandy Nelson, Charlie Martin (Silver Bullet Band), Liberty DeVito (Billy Joel), Chad Smith, Joey Kramer, Alan White, and Ian Mosley. That diversity shows on stage, allowing him to authentically support everything from intimate piano-driven ballads to high-energy rock anthems.
Before forming Allentown, Todd performed regularly on large-scale stages throughout Michigan, including major church venues where precision, consistency, and professionalism are mandatory. That experience informs every aspect of his approach — from musical preparation to stage presentation and production standards.
As bandleader and musical director, Todd oversees booking, personnel, and performance quality for Allentown, ensuring clients receive a polished, reliable, and authentic Billy Joel tribute experience every time. His leadership philosophy is simple: assemble elite musicians, respect the original material, and deliver a show audiences remember — and buyers trust.
MEET ALEX AIDEIRA-LEITE – Bass Guitar | Core Rhythm Section

- Alex Joins Allentown & Lookin’ Back 2026
Alex Aideira-Leite provides the rhythmic and harmonic foundation that allows Allentown’s Billy Joel tribute to breathe, groove, and soar. A graduate of the University of Windsor’s Music Department, Alex is a formally trained bassist whose musicianship immediately elevates every performance.
Based in Windsor, Ontario, Alex is the newest addition to Allentown’s lineup — and the kind that feels like he’s been there for years. After a single rehearsal with a partial lineup just one week before his first show, Alex arrived at the performance with a fretless bass and played with such confidence and musical authority that it felt as if he had written the songs himself. Not bravado — mastery.
Bass is the backbone of any great band, and Alex delivers the solid, musical foundation that lets the piano, vocals, and rhythm section lock in effortlessly. His formal training, combined with a rare ability to connect instantly with new musicians, makes him an invaluable part of Allentown’s sound.
Whether supporting the driving pulse of Billy Joel’s uptempo rockers or the melodic bass lines woven throughout his piano-driven ballads, Alex brings precision, groove, and instinctive musical judgment to every song.
Alex represents the latest addition to Allentown’s growing roster of elite Canadian musicians — proof that when Detroit builds world-class music, it often does so with help from just across the river.
MEET AL HENDRY – Lead Guitar & Vocals

Al Hendry (w/Ashley Lynn)
Al Hendry is the definition of a consummate professional musician — the kind of player elite tribute productions are built around. As lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Allentown, Al brings decades of high-level experience, musical versatility, and reliability to every performance.
A professional freelance guitarist, vocalist, and music educator, Al’s skill set extends well beyond the electric guitar. He is equally accomplished on acoustic guitar, banjo, and mandolin, allowing Allentown to authentically recreate the full tonal range and textures found throughout Billy Joel’s catalog.
Al’s résumé reflects experience at every professional level. He has worked as a session musician on multiple albums, contributed to independent film soundtracks, and performed with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra’s Pops Series. His live performance history spans casinos, corporate events, festivals, yacht clubs, and theaters across North America — from Halifax to Texas, Regina to New Hampshire.
What truly sets Al apart is his professional mindset. He travels to every show with a complete backup rig, ensuring the performance is never compromised. Organized, prepared, and dependable, Al provides the kind of peace of mind that allows the band — and the buyer — to focus on the experience, not the logistics.
A seasoned tribute specialist, Al has performed with several high-profile projects honoring iconic artists including Billy Joel, Elton John, Queen, CCR, Neil Diamond, and more. His deep understanding of tribute performance goes beyond technical accuracy — it’s rooted in respect for the original material, musical restraint, and knowing exactly when to shine and when to support the song.

MEET “FAST EDDIE” MARK – Auxiliary Keyboards, Hammond B3, Harmonica & MORE!

“Fast Eddie” Mark brings precision, personality, and decades of professional experience to Allentown’s Billy Joel tribute as its auxiliary keyboard specialist and on-stage catalyst.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, and now based in Toledo, Eddie is a classically trained pianist and lifelong perfectionist with over 40 years of experience performing on keys and bass in blues, rock, and jazz bands throughout Michigan and Ohio. Once seated behind his beloved Hammond B3, his lightning-fast instincts and exacting standards become immediately apparent.
In Allentown, Eddie supports the band’s piano-driven core with Hammond organ textures, string parts, harmonica sound effects, and orchestral accents, filling in the subtle details that elevate Billy Joel’s arrangements from faithful to complete. His role allows the primary Piano Man to shine while ensuring the full depth of Joel’s studio-era sound is represented live.
Eddie’s classical training in piano and music theory is reinforced by decades of real-world stage and music director experience. A member of the extended Allentown family since 2016, he is one of the band’s longest-tenured and most reliable musicians — demanding, direct, and relentlessly focused on getting it right.
Brooklyn-born and unapologetically honest, Eddie’s perfectionism pushes the entire band to tighten up, listen harder, and perform at a higher level show after show. He is also Allentown’s most vocal supporter on stage — part auxiliary keyboardist, part musical traffic controller, and full-time cheerleader for the band’s energy and momentum.
Honorable mention: Eddie also serves as the dedicated Hammond B3 organist for Lookin’ Back, where he channels the classic organ legacy of Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band — a role that further underscores his deep respect for source material and tribute authenticity.
